What Is Collaborative Ad Creative?

Your marketing staff know your product and the competitive marketplace inside out. That knowledge should be included when you are developing advertising & promotion campaigns. The Amplus™ Process (TAP)

is e10 egency’s unique, collaborative creative process, based on Simplex, Dr.Min Basadur’s proven Applied Creativity model. Simplex is a proven problem solving process that actually trains participants to think and create in a whole new way. 

How It Works

There are several key elements that combine to make TAP a powerful idea creation process:

First, product & market knowledge. The Brand/Product Manager has it. The Marketing Manager has it.

Next we need someone to objectively represent the audience - the consumer. That’s the agency creative team.

And of course, we need the Facilitator. The business manager responsible for the results of the session.

The Amplus™ Process - The Core

And then there’s the unique collaborative creative process itself. The Amplus™ Process is a systematic series of facilitated exercises covering the 4 key stages of idea creation:

1. Problem Definition is critical. We start by clearly defining the problem. It’s amazing how often brilliant thinking is wasted on a misdiagnosed problem. So, first we get very clear about the issue. We nail the brief. And we write it down in a concise way.

2. Creating Possibilities is one of the key free thinking stages. Years of research has revealed, the simple act of understanding when to think freely (free of editing or judgements) and when to make decisions (to decide is to “kill” the alternatives) is a powerful facilitation tool fundamental to TAP.

3. Problem Solving is the stage for making informed, creative choices. Full consensus is required. No bodies are left behind. Our Simplex facilityators are trained to know where and when to apply convergent and divergent thinking throughout the process.

4. Implementation is the actionable stage. The Amplus Process™ is designed to generate marketing platforms, campaign ideas, ad ideas or promotion ideas.
